Who Was David?
David was a shepherd, musician, warrior, fugitive, king, and writer of many Psalms. He is remembered for defeating Goliath, fleeing from King Saul, ruling Israel, bringing Jerusalem into prominence, and seeking God even after serious failure.
David was not perfect, but Scripture remembers him as a man after God’s own heart.
